Types of Virtual Academic Support
Family School offers live academic support through two main add-ons:
Coached Class Add-On
Academic Suite Add-On
Each option builds on the Online School – Premium Student Plan.
Coached Class Add-On (Character Core Class)
Purpose:
Provides live coaching and peer interaction for Character Core courses.
Key Features:
Live virtual classes held 4 days per week
Focus on discussion, application, and projects
Structured schedule using the official Character Core calendar
Students complete lessons before attending class
Includes:
Live instruction
Peer collaboration
Unit projects
End of year Report Card
Does Not Include:
Grading
Math or Language Arts instruction
Written feedback
Academic Suite Add-On (Full Academic Support)
Purpose:
Provides comprehensive academic oversight and support across Character Core, Math, and Language Arts.

Everything in Coached Class
Math Lab (3x per week, optional)
Language Arts Class (weekly)
Assignment grading
Coach feedback
End-of-year report card
This add-on offers the closest experience to a complete virtual school.
