Mark or Unmark a Lesson as Completed

Overview

Family School allows users to mark lessons as completed to track progress through a course. This feature helps families stay organized and see what has been finished and what is still ongoing.

This article explains how to mark a lesson as completed and how to undo that action if needed.


Who Can Mark Lessons as Completed

  • Students: Can mark their own lessons as completed from their student account

  • Parents: Can mark lessons as completed from their student account from the parent account, but not for students


Mark a Lesson as Completed


Steps

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Open the course containing the lesson

  3. Open the lesson you want to complete

  4. In the left-hand menu, click Mark Complete

  5. If prompted, adjust the completion date and time

  6. Click Complete to save

The lesson will now be marked as completed and reflected in progress tracking.


Unmark a Lesson (Mark as Uncompleted)


If a lesson was marked complete by mistake, it can be unmarked.

Steps

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Open the completed lesson

  3. On the Well Done! page, click Select Lesson Mode

  4. Choose either Condensed or Full lesson

  5. Click the green Completed box

  6. Select Uncomplete

The lesson will return to an uncompleted state.
