The Online School – Premium Student Plan is designed for students who want a more independent, leveled video lessons, Academic Core courses, and built-in progress tracking for each student.

  • Cost:

    • $39/month for the first student

    • $10/month for each additional student

  • Grades: K–8

  • Best For: Families who want students Character Core courses video lessons and want to complete Math, Language Arts, and Skills.


What’s Included

The Premium Student Plan includes everything in the Homeschool – Premium Parent Plan, plus:

  • A student account with full lesson access

  • Character Core video lessons

    • Available in approximately 50% of Character Core courses

  • Math courses (leveled by grade)

  • Language Arts courses (leveled by grade)

  • Skills Core courses

  • Progress tracking tools for each student account


What’s Not Included

The Online School – Premium Student Plan does not include:

  • Grading of assignments

  • Live coached classes

  • End-of-year report card

  • Written coach or teacher feedback

Families who want live instruction or graded work should add Coached Class or Academic Suite.


How the Calendar Works with the Student Plan

Calendars are used to organize learning but remain fully customizable.

  • Parents can create calendars and share them with students

  • Students can view scheduled lessons and add their own events

  • Lessons, assignments, and reminders appear directly on the calendar

There is no required pacing. Families choose the schedule that works best for them.


What a Typical Day Looks Like

A student’s day depends on how the parent structures the schedule. A typical flow may include:

  1. Logging into the student account

  2. Checking the calendar for assigned lessons by the parent or tutor

  3. Watching leveled video lessons

  4. Completing independent coursework in:

    • Character and/or Skills Core

    • Math

    • Language Arts

  5. Marking lessons as completed

There is no fixed daily structure—families control the pace and order of learning.


How Assignments Are Submitted

In the Online School – Premium Student Plan:

  • Students complete assignments offline or in a format chosen by the parent

  • Assignments are not submitted through the Family School platform

  • Parents manage grading and assessment independently
