Take the Language Arts Placement Test

Take the Language Arts Placement Test

Overview

The Language Arts Placement Test helps determine whether a student is ready to enter a specific Language Arts level. Unlike Math, Language Arts assessments are selected based on the level the student wants to enter and test skills from the previous level.

This assessment helps confirm readiness before enrolling in a new Language Arts course.

How Language Arts Placement Tests Work

Language Arts placement tests are different from Math placement tests:

  • Students take the assessment for the level they want to enter

  • The assessment measures skills taught in the previous level

  • Passing indicates the student is prepared to move forward

Example

If a student wants to enroll in Language Arts Level 3:

  • They should take the Level 3 Assessment

  • The test covers content from Level 2
