Add Lessons or Events to a Calendar

Overview

Family School allows parents and students to add both lessons and custom events to calendars. This helps families stay organized, plan learning time, and track important activities throughout the school year.

This article explains how to:

  • Add lessons to a calendar

  • Add custom (non-lesson) events


Add a Lesson to a Calendar

Lessons can be scheduled directly from inside a course.

Steps

  1. Log in to your Family School account

  2. Open the course that contains the lesson you want to schedule

  3. Locate the lesson

  4. Click the calendar icon next to the lesson name

  5. Choose the event details:

    • Start date and time

    • End date and time

    • Calendar to add the lesson to

  6. Click Add

The lesson will now appear as an event on the selected calendar.


Add a Custom Event to a Calendar

Custom events can be used for:

  • Study time

  • Appointments

  • Reminders

  • Extracurricular activities

  • Family events


Steps

  1. Log in to your Family School account

  2. Click Calendar in the top menu

  3. Click directly on the date where you want the event

  4. Enter the event details:

    • Event title

    • Start date and time

    • End date and time

  5. Select the calendar where the event should appear

  6. Click Add

The custom event will now appear on your calendar.
