The account(s) your family will use depend on the subscription plan(s) you purchased.

Parent Accounts
Every family has a parent account. Parent accounts are used to manage your family's learning experience.
Parent accounts allow you to:

Add and manage student accounts.

Purchase and manage subscriptions.

Enroll students in courses.

Access the Parent Dashboard.

Create and manage calendars.
If you have Premium Parent Access, your parent account also includes access to the curriculum library, allowing you to teach the lessons yourself. Students do not need their own accounts unless they are enrolled in a plan that requires student access.
Student Accounts
Student accounts are used by students to sign in to the AHS Worldwide learning platform using their own username and password.
Student accounts are required for:

Part-Time Online School

Full-Time Online Private School

Premium Student Licenses
Student accounts allow students to:

Access their assigned courses.

Complete lessons.

Submit assignments.

Track their learning progress.

Access their student dashboard.

Join live classes (Part-Time and Full-Time Online School students).
Which Account Do I Need?

Every family uses a parent account to manage their subscriptions and students.

Student accounts are required for students enrolled in Part-Time Online School, Full-Time Online Private School, or using a Premium Student License.

Premium Parent Access adds access to the curriculum library through the parent account, allowing parents to teach the lessons themselves. It can be used by itself or alongside student-based plans.
